The chief privacy officer protects the personal information of Golden Shop members and is responsible for the prevention of outflow of information, helping you use Golden Shop under safer circumstances.

Usage and collection purpose of personal information
The purpose of collecting personal information is to provide the members with the maximum custom-made service through the Golden Shop site.

Golden Shop collects the minimum information required to provide various services to members, as well as ordering, payment, and delivery of goods and services at Interpark.

The information cannot be used for purposes other than the elementary purpose and cannot provide the information to a 3rd party without the consent of the member. Golden Shop is responsible for any damages caused by forgery, theft, and outflow of information.

Method and items collected
Golden Shop collects the minimum information required in executing purchase contracts. Items other than the following are selective.

1. Name
2. Residence registration number (in the case of members)
3. Address
4. Telephone number
5. Desired ID (in the case of members)
6. Password (in the case of members)

Apart from this, the member can provide additional information according to the desire of the client at the time of application. Additional information is requested during the registration and ordering of certain goods and services in order to facilitate order, payment and delivery by understanding the details of the order.

Amendment on personal information and maintenance period
Golden Shop continues to hold the member information while the member is receiving the services as a Golden Shop member.

However, the personal information can be viewed or amended through the Internet on request of the member, and it can be deleted on request through e-mail or telephone. If you wish to make changes on personal information, you may do so by clicking the Member Information Change icon in Mymall in the Golden Shop homepage.

Joint ownership and offer of personal information
Fundamentally, the personal information of Golden Shop members cannot be provided to a 3rd party, and consent of members must be obtained through appropriate procedures if Golden Shop wishes to provide the information to a certain company in order to provide convenience to the members.

However, there is an exception according to Article 6 of the policy in the following cases: if the information is disclosed to the delivery company for delivery of products. If the information must be given to appropriate institutions for the purpose of providing travel products. If information regarding taxation (including withholding tax and tax) is to be reported to institutions and for academic purposes or statistics wherein the individual cannot be identified.

Protection of personal information of non-members
Non-members of Golden Shop may also purchase goods and services.
Golden Shop requests personal information necessary for delivery and payment in case of orders by non-members.
If you purchase items at Golden Shop as a non-member, the information given regarding payment and recipient may not be used for purposes other than payment and delivery of products.

Protection of personal information of children
Golden Shop believes that it is also important to protect the personal information of children less than 14 years of age in the online environment. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to gain membership at Golden Shop.
Thus, children under the age of 14 cannot receive services as a member at Golden Shop.

Financial information protection policy
Golden Shop believes that it is of utmost importance to protect the personal financial information of members.
Golden Shop never sells or lends financial information of members. Golden Shop may provide statistics on financial information or services related to the finance of the users to the cooperating companies, however information connected to identification of individuals is not included.

Management and application of cookie
Golden Shop uses the Cookie method for membership authentication. However, cookie is only used as a method to authenticate the user as a member at the time of login. File cookie is not used as a method of providing aid to the Golden Shop policy by utilization of personal information. In addition, it is designed to delete automatically without being stored in the PC at logout. We advise users to logout after using the services when accessing a public or shared PC.

Prevention against loss, misuse, plagiarism, and alteration of personal information
Personal information at Golden Shop is protected by a password. You cannot disclose your password to anyone. Golden Shop does not ask for your password through unnecessary phone calls or e-mails. In addition, we advise users to end your account after using the services of Golden Shop, and close the web browser window. This is to prevent others from gaining access to your account or personal information when using a shared computer or public computer at Internet cafes, PC rooms, or libraries.

Other facts on personal information
Please be aware that the information you disclose online (e.g. notice board, e-mail, or chatting) can be collected and utilized by a 3rd party. If you disclose your personal information online where connection is open, you may receive unwanted messages from others.
You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your ID and password. Therefore, please take extra care when you are logged in online.
